Australia offers excellent post-study work opportunities for international students. The duration of your stay-back period depends on the qualification you complete.
Bachelor's programs in Australia generally take three to four years depending on the field of study. Graduates may be eligible for a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) allowing them to stay and work for up to 24 months.
Master's programs generally require one and a half to two years of study. International graduates may qualify for a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) with a stay-back period of up to 36 months.
Diploma programs vary from six months to two years depending on the specialization. Eligible graduates may apply for a Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) allowing them to remain in Australia for up to 24 months.
