Why Study in Canada?
Canada offers two major intakes and one limited intake for international students. Choose the intake that best aligns with your academic goals and application timeline.
The September intake is the primary admission season in Canada, offering the largest selection of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Most universities and colleges accept applications for this intake, with deadlines generally falling between October and January.
The January intake is the second major admission period in Canada. It offers a limited number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, making it an excellent option for students who miss the September intake. Applications are usually accepted between June and September.
The May intake is available only at selected colleges and universities for specific programs. Since course availability is limited, students should apply early. Applications generally begin between September and February.
Canada offers excellent post-study work opportunities through the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). The duration of the work permit generally depends on the length of the academic program completed.
Undergraduate bachelor's programs in Canada generally take four years to complete, although some programs may vary depending on the institution and field of study. After successfully completing the degree, eligible students can apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) for up to three years.
Master's programs in Canada usually take one to two years to complete. Graduates of one-year programs may receive a one-year PGWP, while graduates of two-year master's programs are generally eligible for a Post-Graduation Work Permit of up to three years.
Postgraduate diploma programs generally range from one to two years depending on the institution and specialization. Students completing a one-year diploma are typically eligible for a one-year PGWP, while those completing a two-year diploma may receive a Post-Graduation Work Permit for up to three years.
