Admission Criteria

Canadian universities evaluate applicants using a holistic approach, considering academic performance, personal achievements, work experience, extracurricular activities, and overall potential.
For admission to a four-year bachelor's degree, students following the British education system are generally expected to have at least five GCSEs (Grade C or above) and three A Levels.
Pre-U qualifications and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma are widely accepted for admission, including at many top Canadian universities.
Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through recognized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, or other accepted examinations.
Most universities require recommendation letters from teachers or counselors to assess the applicant's academic ability, character, and potential.
Extracurricular activities, leadership experience, volunteer work, and sports achievements are also considered during the admission process.

Three Recommendation Letters from the HOD, Professors, Assistant Professors, or Lecturers of the Graduation College
Bank Statement showing funds of INR 15–18 Lakhs on the bank's letterhead (Attested by the Branch Manager)
Affidavit of Financial Support from the Sponsor
TOEFL / IELTS, SAT, GRE & GMAT score reports (Official scores should be sent directly to the university through ETS, where applicable)
Educational Resume / Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Passport Copy (First and Last Pages)
Recent Passport-size Photograph
Work Experience Letter (if applicable)
Qualification and Extracurricular Activity Certificates (Attested by the Graduation College in a sealed envelope)

Eligibility criteria vary by institution and course.

Test Scores

Canadian colleges and Universities require a student to have an English proficiency test score (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or other equivalent). The required minimum score may vary by institution but is typically between 6.5-7.5 on the IELTS, 90-100 on the TOEFL iBT, minimum PTE score for Canada is between 58-73 for the students who are applying for any program. Some universities or courses may require the student to appear for GRE/GMAT as admission criteria.
