Application Process

• When you’ve decided to apply to study in UK then the first step to applying to a UK university is to fill out the online application from that University’s website. If an online application is not available for a particular university then download a paper application from the university’s website. Once you have decided on the university/college you wish to apply to study in the UK, visit their website and order a free prospectus or “view book”. This will be so helpful.
• There are three modes of applications to start studying in UK: Early Decision/Early Action; Regular Decision; and Rolling Admissions. Irrespective of the mode, start the application process at least a year before the deadline. Early Decision is to decide about the university you want to join. The difference between Early Action and Early Decision is that Early Decision demands a binding commitment to enroll; that means, if a student secures an admission under an early decision program the candidate must withdraw from all other universities and colleges to which he/she had applied earlier and enrolls at that institute of UK, whereas early action does not require binding.
