Application Process

• Fill out the online application form on the university's official website. If an online application is unavailable, download and submit the paper application form.
• Request or download the university's prospectus or viewbook from its official website to understand the courses and admission process.
• There are three application modes: Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision (Rolling Admission is also available at some universities).
• Early Decision is a binding application process. If accepted, the student must withdraw applications from other universities and enroll in that institution.
• Early Action is non-binding, allowing students to apply to multiple universities without a commitment to enroll.
• Under Early Decision, students can apply to only one university, whereas Early Action usually allows applications to multiple universities.
• Some universities, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Stanford, offer Single-Choice Early Action, which is non-binding but restricts applications to other early programs.
• Applying through Early Action or Early Decision generally increases the chances of admission.
• Most students apply through the Regular Decision process, with application deadlines around January 1 and admission decisions released by April 1.
• Applications can be submitted through the Common Application (Common App) or directly through the university's official application portal.
• Required documents typically include an Educational Resume/CV, passport copy (first and last pages), passport-size photographs, work experience letter (if applicable), and educational or extracurricular certificates.
• For Architecture and Fashion Design programs, a portfolio or project report is usually required.
• Prepare two separate sets of documents for each university—one for admission and one for scholarship applications—and submit them in separate sealed envelopes.
